Breaking with the traditional paradigm of contemporary urban villa spaces and living environments, Ike Architects attempts to reconstruct boundaries in this project, drawing on the project's underpinnings of the urban population's contemporary living climate. At the same time, creating a state of nature, harmony, and relaxation in the heart of the city is also a reappraisal of luxury homes by Ike Architecture. L House is located in a luxury residential area on the island of Izhaikou, on the eastern side of the river. The L-shaped architectural layout offers a captivating living center and functional space with endless river views. Stay indoors and enjoy the sun and the air, rather like standing on a lookout by a river. Silent buildings, quiet power, clean white, all of which make everything around you — wind, water, trees, sun, birds, fishing boats — sound beautiful. In the space of the home, people are the protagonists, and space does not exist as an independent individual. Instead, it is interdependent with people. We want the space to be selfish and convey a sense of self.

02 Exterior Natural Flow

The negative floor of the villa should not be a black house, this is our attitude towards the external space of the building. Place the pool and create a patio above it to absorb the outside sun and air into a negative first floor of the reception area. Water, light, and wind flow through the space, and these dynamic presences give the space a natural comfort and an open experience.

03 Function generation

The staircase is a functional movement through the overall space and an emotional transformation from the open outward to the private inward. With the living room on one floor as the center of the space, the two stairs from the top pass as living space on the two or three floors, and the lower staircase directly connects to the reception area on the negative one floor from the living room. Purified white plantings make living and welcoming relationships in a building space silent and pure. In the planning thinking of living space and reception space, we try to divide the relationship between the two longitudinally in a building space.

Restraint and Retreat

Home is gentle and gives people a quiet and relaxing power. The presence of space is calm and elegant. Although space itself embodies the intervention of design, harmony and modesty are what space should look like, and its expression is restrained. At the same time, this crafting manifests itself in the behavior of the designer, that is, giving the owners of the house more of their own space. It is a non-complete state of completeness and is also fun to have continuity.

05 Attitudes
Attitude towards home
‍

In living spaces, conciseness is not the end goal. Under the practical system of space, we pay more attention to the relationship between people in space and nature, the state of life and emotional demands of people at home, their sense of privacy and security, the character and characteristics of people and their homes. This is what the Ike building looks like in the Tryout Mansion. Tranquility, harmony, sunshine, air, all of these are the beauties we want to express about home.
