In De Blanke Top, a new project at Versluys in the Netherlands, Eline Ostyn's design principles are embodied: an open layout, homogeneous materials related to its geographical location, and a variety of subtle and tactile textures. Overlooking the dunes, these materials are an extension of the Dutch coastline. Sandblasted spruce wood reminds of gentle waves, and the open structure of beige DeMedici natural stone and granular limestone imitates the beach. Once you enter the space, there is a feeling of tranquility.
