The design of this space draws on the life history of the homeowner, sees the unusual beauty through the imperfections and inconstants of the area; through the silence of the owner's heart, initiate a dialogue of self - go through the transformation and start again. Inspired by the flowing fluorescence described in Haiku's Haiku “Haikou” in Haiku's “Haikū”, the project is inspired by the Japanese concept of dying and stillness. It is the key to connecting space inside and outside and moving, so that you can see the fullness of life in the empty spaces. Enough, in the beauty of the seen, to become aware of the invisible design.
After that, the studio's pale-hued color scheme, with its earthly native and rustic, 60 ㎡ of indoor space and 90 ㎡ of outdoor terrace, opens up a vast expanse of sky, as if merging with the sky, to restore the inner peace of the avenue to its simple interior; all this is enhanced by leaving white and richer. Speaking of this side note on silence, the designer meant to say at length: like the purity of spring, without shadows, we try to create a humid silence. In this description, all memories are wet, quoting from the classic sentence. Whether influenced by Wang Jiawei's film 2046 or Liu Yiwei's novel The Drunk, intending to frame the story in intense time and color is a narrative technique that space has learned from the classics.
So the designer poured a splash of greenery into every corner, using different mediums to depict the new green buds that sprout from the soil after the rain. Behind the meaning was an extension of the homeowner's image, he loved nature, outwardly humorous, and welcomed a new chapter after his transformation.
This case is characterized by a terrace that is larger than the interior space. In design, we propose a 1+1>2 strategy, by blurring the interior and exterior, trying to add only 60 ㎡ of indoor space to create a feeling of 120 ㎡ of spaciousness. We divided the area into two, opening as much as possible the living room, multifunctional room and master bedroom adjacent to the window. We connected the different areas with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the sunbathing house to incorporate the longest daylight hours, introducing the flow of nature and time, not only enriching the space expression, but also creating a sense of infinity inside and outside.
